The time kept to visit Sesto San Giovanni was all & more spent in Police station due to vehicle robbery. A secure parking is absolutely necessary to have a pleasant experience. So sad that we were unable to explore the area.

I haven't been exploring so much Sesto San Giovanni, but...
I haven't been exploring so much Sesto San Giovanni, but it's close to Milan, and to the mountains north of Milan, and I highly recommend both. Many other interesting, and beautiful cities are located not too far from Milan, like Piacenza, Verona, Turin, and so on. So there's lots to discover around here.

It takes around 15 minutes to Duomo and a minute to metro station. Breakfast was excellent, there was plenty to choose from and a great way to start the day of exploration.
